William Adams, M.D.

After years of service to Cary and its surrounding areas, Dr. Adams is retiring at the end of February 2019. Please rest assured that all of our providers are ready to care for patients that have primarily seen Dr. Adams in the past. Our eletronic medical records facilitate very smooth transition of care from one provider to another.  We wish him and his family all the best in the future! 

 Dr. Adams is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency at Penn State University, where he also served as chief resident. He has served on the board of directors for Key Physicians IPA and is a former board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and he served on the advisory board of the National Council Against Health Care Fraud. An Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, he is a member of both the North Carolina Medical Society and the North Carolina Pediatric Society.
