Christopher Elkins, CPNP-PC

Christopher Elkins (he/him) is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and re-joined Triangle Pediatric Center in January of 2022.

He was born and raised her in the triangle. He attended East Carolina University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree (BSN) in Nursing in 2007. After nursing school, he worked as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology nurse for 9 years in both the inpatient and outpatient setting at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He is also a Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON). He completed the Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing in 2016, earning his MSN. Since graduating, he has worked in primary car and while he loves working with children of all ages, he particularly enjoys working with Pre-teens and Adolescents. He also has a special interest in behavioral and mental health.

When he is not busy working, Chris enjoys spending time with boys, Everett and Bennett. He also enjoys running, home repair and traveling to the mountains.
