Christy Greene, RN, IBCLC

Christy Greene, RN, IBCLC; serves Triangle Pediatrics as our International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (2022) providing for our families and their lactation needs. Christy also serves on our team of Triage Nurses, joining that team and the practice in 2019.

Christy attended The Wake Technical School of Nursing and graduated with her RN in 2017. She has worked as a beside nurse at Rex Hospital and a pediatric bedside nurse at WakeMed Raleigh before coming to Triangle Pediatrics.

Prior to becoming a nurse, Christy was a Preschool Teacher as well as Art Teacher in the Cary area for 9 years. Spending time in the education of small children led to a desire to help small children even further through the field of nursing. Before teaching, Christy worked in the telecommunications industry as a Software Test Engineer for 7 years after receiving her bachelor’s degree in business and Computers from East Carolina University.

Originally from Plattsburgh, NY, Christy has called NC since 1988. Outside of work, Christy enjoys spending time with her husband Paul, her two collegiate daughters Grace and Julia, and the family pet Alvin. Interests include traveling, crocheting, and serving at her church in various ways: Handbell Ringer, Stephen Minister, and Choir Member.
